I take Fluoxetine for depression and, up until recently, Quetiapine. It used to be relatively easy for me to lose weight – just walk more and cut down on carbs. Not anymore. Since suffering my first majoe depressive episode 11 years ago, I have found it super difficult to lose the weight I put on initially (30 kilos) and, even now after these weeks on the Shrinked programme and major changes in my relationship with food and old-brain habits, I have still only lost a couple of kilos.
Is this common? If so, is there any advice for me? Or do I just have to try harder?
